New Website for Emu Handmade Tile Launched

We are happy to announce that our new website is now up and running.  Darrell and I are still in the process of adding features and content, but we both agree that it is already way better than the old website.  Our new and improved site runs on the open source content management system, Drupal, and it has many new features that we find exciting. For starters, we can blog right on EmuTile.com.  From now on, I will post entries here instead of at my old blog. My favorite feature of the new site is that product pages show thumbnails of each handmade art tile in more than one glaze.   If you click on one of the thumbnails, you will see a close-up of the tile in the given glaze.  Click the close up image, and you will see the same tile in different glaze.  The 3"x3" single ginkgo leaf tile currently shows the widest variety of glazes.

Most tiles in the catalog now appear in several glazes, and we are adding more glaze pictures all the time.  If there is a glaze-tile combination you want to see that isn't it on the site, please contact me.  I may have a picture that I haven't quite managed to post yet.

One more thing you should know about the new site: visitors have the ability to rate and comment on every tile.  So please click around and let us know what you think!
