Terms and Conditions

All Emu Tiles are handmade to order in my one-person studio. Estimated shipping dates are not guaranteed, and I do not accept rush orders. [Glaze samples], however, are usually in stock and ready to ship.

Because each tile is handmade, slight variations in color, texture, and glaze surface are a natural and expected part of the process. These variations contribute to the character of the finished installation and are not considered defects. While I work hard to represent the tiles accurately in photographs, glaze surfaces reflect light and may appear differently depending on lighting conditions and screen settings.

Due to the personalized nature of custom work, I am unable to accept returns unless I have made an error with your order. Please review your order carefully before placing it, and feel free to reach out with any questions prior to purchase. If you notice a mistake after placing your order, please contact me as soon as possible. Changes may be possible early in the process, but may not be possible once production has begun. Your satisfaction is important, and I will do my best to ensure your custom pieces meet your expectations. You can read more about my return policy [here].

In the unlikely event that your tiles arrive damaged, or if your package is lost or missing, please contact me promptly so I can assist you. I will work with the shipping carrier to investigate the issue and arrange a replacement or refund, if appropriate.

All orders are shipped with delivery confirmation.

Orders valued at $500 or more are shipped with signature confirmation to help ensure safe delivery. If this creates a scheduling concern, please feel free to contact me. Signature confirmation is also available upon request for smaller orders.

Customers are responsible for providing an accurate shipping address. Additional shipping charges may apply if a package must be re-shipped due to an incorrect or incomplete address.

Please inspect your order upon arrival and before installation. Installation constitutes acceptance, and any concerns must be reported prior to installation.

Emu Tile LLC is not liable for any costs associated with the repair or replacement of Emu Tiles, including removal, installation, or re-installation. The seller disclaims any liability for special, incidental, or consequential damages.

I reserve the right to cancel and fully refund any order. While I work hard to ensure that every order goes smoothly, circumstances beyond my control can arise. If an event such as a natural disaster, health issue, or other unforeseen situation prevents me from completing your order within a reasonable timeframe, I will notify you as soon as possible and provide a full refund.
