Praying Mantis 3"x3" Ceramic Handmade Tile

Soon after I sculpted and made a mold of this tile, I encountered a mantis, alive and well, right in the middle of downtown here in Kent, Ohio.

This design is also available in the 2"x2" and 4"x4" size. Price listed here is for a single 3"x3" tile. Group photo is for reference only. Glazes in the group photo are: spearmint (top left),  watercolor blue (top right), leaf green (bottom left) and pacific blue (bottom right).

 All glaze options are non-toxic and lead free. This Praying Mantis handmade tile comes with a slot in the back for easy wall hanging. It also works well in permanent installations. This original Arts and Crafts style, 3-D relief design is reproduced individually by hand in high fire stoneware.
