Glaze samples are available year-round and ship promptly — no ordering window required. Please limit orders to one sample per glaze color per customer. You're welcome to order multiple different colors, but duplicate samples of the same color will be refunded.
“Night Sky” is a specialty multi-step finish created using layered glazes. To achieve this effect, I apply two coats of black glaze, then carefully wipe the high points with a damp sponge to allow the white clay to show through. I touch up the black glaze as needed before applying two coats of clear glaze, taking care not to disturb the surface.
Because this process requires significantly more time and attention than my standard glazing method, Night Sky carries an additional charge:
• +$2 for 2×2 feature tiles
• +$3 for 3×3 feature tiles
• +$4 for 4×4 and 3x6 feature tiles
• +$6 for 6×6 and 4×8 feature tiles
