Sycamore trees are native to the eastern half of the US. They can grow to well over 100 feet tall in the proper soil. Their impressive stature name may explain why Sycamores have provided inspiration for so many writers and musicians over the years. Or maybe they just like the name? The word "sycamore" has a pleasant and melodious sound when spoken. It rolls off the tongue smoothly, with a gentle and rhythmic cadence.
