Frank Lloyd Wright's Graycliff Estate in Derby, NY

It is an honor for me to announce that Emu Tile are now available in the retail shop at Graycliff Estate, in Derby, NY. Graycliff was designed by Frank Lloyd Wright and built in 1926 and 27 on the shore of Lake Erie. It was rescued from demolition in the late 1990s, and has been thoughtfully restored by the Graycliff Conservancy, a non-profit organization dedicated to preserving the one of a kind property. To learn more about Graycliff Estate and plan a visit, go to graycliffestate.org

Because ginkgo leaves were one of Mr. Wright's favorite motifs, the first batch of tiles I sent included many ginkgo tiles. Here are a few of them, along with some acorn and pine tiles:

Soon, I am going to begin work on a new 4"x4" Buffalo tile specifically for Graycliff Estate. The proximity to Buffalo, NY, makes Buffalos a popular theme there. I'll post some in-progress pictures here.
