It's an Honor to be Here

I am fortunate that I was able to attend the magical, amazing opening reception for "It's an Honor to be Here: Ohio Nature Artists in their Natural State" in Lancaster at the Decorative Arts Center of Ohio.

I had never been to either the city or the museum before the show opened, but I was charmed and impressed by both. I was especially wowed by the quality of the work and the diversity of styles and mediums in the show. I only wish I had taken more pictures. Here is a complete list of the artists who participated, as well as the counties in which we reside:

Forty artists from all over the state were invited to participate, and it was a joy to meet so many of them all in one place. I feel privileged that my work will be shown alongside theirs at such a fantastic venue through the end of December. Big thanks to curators and fellow artists Maria Burke and Madeline Beaumier for making this show a reality, and for inviting me to participate. It truly is an honor!
