Custom Tile for Bowman's Hill Wildflower Preserve in New Hope, PA

The good people of "Bowman's Hill Wildflower Preserve" recently commissioned me to make a 4" art tile based on their logo:

The logo is lovely, so I am quite excited to see the finished tiles. The image above shows what I have so far.

In sculpting this design, I used two colors of clay to accentuate the raised areas, the final tile will be made from a single color of clay and glazed with just one glaze... I am not sure which one yet. If my interpretation of the design gets an "ok" I will make a plaster mold this coming week and begin production as soon as the mold is dry.

This project reminds me of the logo tiles I made for the Davey Expert Tree Company a few years ago. Davey Tree also has an attractive, nature themed logo, and I think those tiles came out rather well. Your can see them here:
