Gifts from the Heart of Nature 2013

If you live in Northeast Ohio, I want to let you know that the Holden Arboretum’s annual art show & fundraiser begins this weekend! If you are interested in supporting one of the largest botanical gardens in the United States, AND local artists, this show is for you. The event kicks off with a preview party this Friday, November 15th from 3-8pm, then will be open from Saturday, Nov. 16 through Sunday, Jan. 5, 9am – 5pm everyday day except Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve & Day, and New Year’s Eve & Day.

“Gifts from the Heart of Nature” is a wonderful source of unique, locally made Christmas presents. Plus, the Holden Arboretum makes a great day trip- it truly is beautiful in every season. Darrell and I drove up a couple of weeks ago to deliver tiles for the show, and we had a delightful time exploring the grounds.

How romantic is this?

I would love for you to check out the wide assortment of health care products, metal art, glass art, ceramic art, photography/pen & ink, jewelry, apparel, leather goods, food and wood items. Everything at the show is made using environmentally responsible materials. Here is some of what I made for the show this year:
