Wood and tile, that is! Especially tile that is glazed it our most popular glaze, Autumn. Here are some examples of tiles inlaid in natural woodwork in a variety of settings. First up, a lovely hearth. The homeowner incorporated five of my 4"x4" art tiles into his hand built fireplace surround. Hand made art tile are excellent because they make a home personalized. Reason #2 of 101 reasons art tile are great.Here is a swell article found in a local Patch.com for Monrovia.The article shows some excellent pictures of historical Batchelder tiles which are very beautiful as they have the appearance of stone or perhaps something out of the Lord of the Rings. Customer Installation Photos: An Art House
Here are pictures from a customer who loves art, and has a knack for displaying it her home. In her kitchen, she had 4"X4" tree themed art tiles installed along with stone field tile, with fantastic results. I love her shelf of art pottery at the end of the wooden counter!
